New Faces at Black Dyke

Black Dyke are delighted to welcome new faces into the Queensbury based band.

Ben Richeton calls time at Black Dyke

Benjamin Richeton leaves the band after four rewarding years, with European, British Open and National Championship successes, fantastic tours to New York, Japan, Switzerland and not forgetting The Glastonbury Festival!

Wedding Bells for Ben & Sumayah

On a glorious summers day last Saturday (July 8th) the Black Dyke Band were pleased to be in attendance at the wedding of Ben Wright and Sumayah Refaat. Ben plays 2nd Baritone with the band and Sumayah has been part of our merchandise team for several years. We wish the couple much joy and happiness.

New Addition to our Collection

A new addition to our Heritage Collection was greatly received from one of our ex-players Sandy Blair. Sandy played with the band in 1984-6 on Eb Tuba and began collecting antique tubas as a hobby.
